Description

Adastral House was owned by the Air Ministry and used as their headquarters from 1918 until the 1950s. In 1955 the building became Television House and was fitted with a number of studios for television recording. In the 1970s it was occupied by the General Register Office, being renamed St Catherine’s House during their tenure. After the General Register Office vacated, the building became the headquarters of ExxonMobil. Other subsequent names have included The Centrium and 61 Aldwych.
