Description

The image shows the Lady Chapel, also known as Henry VII's Chapel, as he spent much of his own money on buildings, including the Lady Chapel in the Abbey. It shows the fan-vaulted ceiling with octagonal pendants hanging from the centres of the circular patterns, and traceried windows underneath. On either side of the panelled walls are flags with crests, and in the foreground is a partial view of the grille that surrounds the monument of King Henry VII and his wife, Elizabeth of York. Beyonf the grille is a partial view of a small angelic statue on top of a covered altar, and holds a large staff with bird on top in their left hand.
