Description

Anne Boleyn's Gateway forms part of the west range of Clock Court, with the Clock Tower on the eastern range. The gateway houses an astronomical clock made in 1540 by Nicholas Oursian. Underneath the clock is a terracotta acoat of arms belonging to Wolsey. Through the gate is a partial view of Base Court to the west, and through that, another open gate leading to the west entrance of the palace.
