Description

The multi-storey car park was designed by Michael Blampied and Partners, and was commissioned to serve shoppers who would used the nearby flagship department store, Debenhams. The external walls have pre-fabricated concrete triangles that are load-bearing which support reinforced beam and plank floors within the car park. Underneath, the ground floor has an arcade with geometric heads and V-shaped keystones, partially obscured by scaffolding and boards.
