Description

Twenty-nine sheets of a rectified photographic survey of Chatterley Whitfield Colliery. The survey includes elevations of the Platt Winding House, the Platt Shaft and Headgear, the Old Power House, the Winstanley Headgear and Heapstead, the Hesketh Heapstead, the Hesketh Winding and Power House, the Electrician's Workshop and Ostler's Store, the Lamp House, the Institute Shaft and Headgear, the Old Fan House, and the Main Tub Hall. The survey was conducted in July 2000 by The Downland Partnership on behalf of English Heritage
