Description

Thirteen sheets of a survey of The Grange, Northington. The sheets include elevations of the east block showing demolition works; plans, sections and details of the ground-, first- and second-floor windows in the east block; and details of the pedestals, attic cornice, entablature cornice, the triglyph and metope rosette, the mutule and guttae, the doric capitals and the pilaster mouldings in the east block. Many of the sheets are marked 'As Built'. The survey was undertaken by Plowman Craven and Associates on behalf of the Department of the Environment. The sheets have subsequently been annotated by Gilmore Hankey Kirke Ltd, and date from October 1978 to February 1980.
