English Heritage photographer Michael Hesketh-Roberts from the Swindon office, took photographs of buildings in the Burton-upon-Trent area of Staffordshire, between 12 June 2000 -16 June 2000. These photographs, were subsequently used by the Victoria County History for their publication, 'A history of Stafford, volume 9: Burton-upon-Trent', (2003).
In 2004 English Heritage Photographer Pat Pat from the Swindon office took photographs of other sites in Staffordshire for the Victoria County History.
Photographic jobs taken in 2000 by Michael Hesketh-Roberts were linked to individual site-specific Buildings Files. Photographic jobs taken by Pat Payne in 2004 were linked to one overall Project Buildings File, following the change in recording guidelines in 2003.
