Series: Swindon Design Guide

Description

The Swindon Design Guide was being produced by the Conservation and Design Department of Swindon Borough Council. It was intended that it would describe the Borough of Swindon and the changes that the Council wished to see made to its environment in the coming years. The Guide was intended to promote quality in new development in Swindon and to set a standard for assessing significant planning applications.

The National Trust and English Heritage were supporting publication, and from October 2005 English Heritage photographer Peter Williams was providing the new images for the Guide.

By mid-2007 the project had been discontinued.
