Description

The collection contains colour and black and white engravings depicting a variety of locations produced between 1811 and 1891. Of particular note are: a drawing by Maurice B. Adams of Stokesay Castle (1891) - with a photographic portrait that maybe Adams or a relation on the reverse - , aquatint colour prints of interiors at the Coliseum, Regent's Park, London (1811) and St Mary's church, Cambridge (1815); and an etching of Little Snoring church in Norfolk (1835). The remaining items mainly relate to churches in London.
