Description
The series comprises two letters from Jim Pickering to Don Benson, 21 aerial reconnaissance reports, a rainfall map, a flying programme, and a list of photographs taken by Jim Pickering. They provide an interesting insight into aerial photography for archaeology in the 1970s. The papers were compiled by Jim Pickering and were produced between 1973 and 1975.
Archival History
The series was acquired by Historic England Archive in 2018.
