Description

The series consists of a volume entitled ‘Ministry of Works Library Visitors’ which contain the dates, names, and addresses of visitors to the Ministry of Works Library between March 1950 and March 1970. Prominent individuals include Sir John Summerson, Allen Lane from Penguin Books, Nikolaus Pevsner, Cecil Farthing, M. Parry from the NBR, H.M. Colvin, and Peter Collins from the McGill University. It also includes many visitors from overseas.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by The Historic England Archive in 2010.
