Series: The British Olympics

Description

A series of seventeen (17) digital colour photographs showing sites and structures in England associated with the Olympic Games.

All of the photographs were taken by Simon Inglis and were published in 'The British Olympics: Britain's Olympic heritage 1612-2012' by Martin Polley (2011). Three photographs were also published in 'Played in London' by Simon Inglis (2014).

Included in the series are four photographs of crowds and individuals at the 2009 Cotswold Olimpick Games, and seven photographs of memorials, buildings and items from the 1948 Olympic Games and its Olympic Village.
