Description
Around 250 black and white Digital images showing the wartime activites of Pearson's of Liverpool, a vehicle dealer and coach/ body-builder.
The photographs are mostly close ups of trucks and military vehicles, some with the background removed for wartime secrecy. There are also images showing interiors of Pearson's workshops and factories. The location of most of the photographs is the area around Overbury Street, Smithdown Lane and Faulkner Street in Liverpool. Further prewar and end of war images show Pearson's garage in Shaw Street and post war coaches.
