Description
The series contains notebooks, address books and pocket diaries compiled by Peter Reid between about 1963 and 2004.
The notebooks cover the period 1970-2004 and list houses destroyed in England, Scotland and Wales; and research material acquired or borrowed by Peter Reid on particular sites including sales particulars and images loaned by the NMR.
The pocket diaries cover the period 1963-1988 and the address books contain names & addresses of key lenders for NMR copying.
Also in this series are three files of correspondence between Peter Reid and: 'The Daily Mail'; the Aurum Press; and departments responsible for listing historic buildings including the Department of the Envionment and English Heritage.
Archival History
This series was given to the NMR before 2010.
