Description
The collection contains over 24,000 sales particulars compiled by Peter Reid. Peter Reid had an arrangement with estate agents to send him copies of sales particulars for historic houses that were being sold. He gave copies to local archives and to the Historic England Archive.The earliest items date from the 1950s but the bulk of the sales particulars date from the 1980s and contain colour printing and / or colour images. They are handlisted and are arranged by 1974-1996 counties and then by parish within the counties.
