Description

The series comprises a folder of documents relating to research on the history of the Royal Commission on the Historic Monuments of England (RCHME) compiled by Andrew Sargent of English Heritage between 1999 and 2001. The documents are mainly photocopies of papers including the KPMG Review of 1988, articles for the Ancient Monuments Society Transactions by Stephen Croad, published reminiscences of RCHME Staff, and some correspondence.

Archival History

The collection was acquired by the NMR in 2010.
