Description

This sub-collection contains the excavation archive created by C A Ralegh Radford relating to the Brough of Birsay. The site was excavated by Ralegh Radford in the 1950s - 1960s, with the purpose of investigating the Norse settlement. The project was funded by the Ministry of Works.
