Description

Sheet of fifteen 35mm slides relating to the American Civil War, particularly the wrecks of Hunley and Monitor. There are several slides with historic depictions of the Hunley and portraits of the key people involved with the vessel ie. HC Hunley, Dixon and JR McClintock. Also an artists impression of the Hunley on the seabed. Slides concerning the Monitor show 3D sector scanning sonar images of the wreck and an isometric drawing of the vessel.
