Description

An earthwork survey of Wigmore Castle was undertaken in February 2001 and March 2002 by English Heritage staff from the Swindon office. The survey was carried out at the request from the EH West Midlands Regional Office to provide a plan and analysis of the whole site, including the earthworks to the north-west and south-east of the castle.
