Description

The survey and analysis of earthworks in two areas of the post medieval gardens at Cobham Hall was carried out in September 2002 by English Heritage Cambridge Office. The investigations, which are part of a multi-disciplinary study of the former Cobham Park and adjoining lands, were requested by Phillip Smart of the Cobham Ashenbank Management Scheme. The results will contribute to a conservation plan for Cobham Park and detailed designs for a landscape restoration project.
