Description
A reconnaissance and limited survey of the remains of the former South Front Barracks was carried out by RCHME Cambridge office in September 1998 as part of the Western Heights Project. The survey was undertaken at the request of Kent County Council as part of an Interreg II programme relating to historic fortifications in Kent, Nord-Pas de Calais and West Flanders.
