Description
RCHME Cambridge surveyed the remains of the Benedictine monastery in 1994, at the request of English Heritage working in conjunction with the Broads Authority and the the National Rivers Authority, as an aid to the rebuilding of the flood defences of the River Bure, which has been eroding the western part of the precinct.
