Description

The post-medieval flint mines were surveyed by RCHME Cambridge in 1996, at the request of Suffolk County Council, to assist with their archaeological survey of the area with a view to presentation of the site to the public. It has been included in the Industry and Enclosure in the Neolithic Project to act as a direct comparison.
