Description

An album of 33 pages containing 71 items. The contents are mixed, consisting of mostly photographs and cuttings (textual and illustrations), with some postcards, prints and engravings.

All the items in this album refer to or show the interior of York Minster and its furnishings. There are general views and series of prints showing the Lady Chapel, choir and transepts and the stained glass.

The suggested dates for the items cover the range 1780 - 1980 with a large number dating from the nineteenth and very early twentieth centuries.
