Description
Album number 23 in Bedford Lemere's scheme containing photographs of interiors of mainly town and country houses. Exceptions are Birmingham's Victoria Law Courts, the Grand Hotel (Birmingham), the Prudential Assurance Offices (Birmingham), Cafe Monico (London), Sunderland Town Hall and Collingwood Restaurant (Newcastle).
The album has 98 pages and 19 pages have had their prints removed although the captions remain.
On the back of the second to last page there is a original note that although the last print in this album is BL11139 it is out of chronology as BL11128 to BL11134 (Shiplake Court) are in the next album. Presumable because there was not enough space in this album for the entire run.
When the negatives are held by the NMR, these have been cross referenced as have any copy negatives.
