Description

Album number 29 in Bedford Lemere's scheme containing photographs of the interiors of several country and town houses, hotels, concert halls, a bank, an institute, a polytechnic, a station, a stables, an ocean liner and a piano showroom. The locations are mostly in London, but include Newcastle Upon Tyne, Windsor, Birmingham, Lancashire, Hertfordshire, Liverpool, Huddersfield, Brighton and Harrogate. The larger groups of photographs include 10 of the North Eastern (Royal) Station Hotel in Newcastle Upon Tyne; 9 of 28 Ashley Place, London and 7 of RMS Lucania of the Cunard Line.

The album contains 100 pages which hold 86 prints. 14 pages have captions and print numbers but the prints have been removed. The prints are cross-referenced to original and copy negatives where possible.

It is noted at the start of the album that the series of photographs of the house in the first few photographs was commenced in the last book (AL0459)
