Description

Bedford Lemere Album 8 - Exteriors. An album of 98 pages containing 95 prints. Three prints are missing but the original numbers are given on the page. In all but one case prints are on only one side of a sheet, Page 90 is on the rear of Page 89.

The views are all exterior and cover a range of domestic, commercial and institutional properties. In most cases there is only one, or a couple of views, of each site but there are six of Somerhill near Tonbridge and six of the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford upon Avon. The locations are mostly in London but include buildings in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Herefordshire, West Sussex and Wales.
