Description

An album of 25 pages containing 25 prints of Danesfield, Medmenham, Buckinghamshire, taken in 1908 by Harry Bedford Lemere. The first page is a handwritten caption list. The photographs show 9 exteriors of the house and stable block, 13 interiors, 1 view of the house in the landscape and 2 of the formal garden. Bedford Lemere visited the house shortly after it was built in 1902 and took 8 views (Ref. BL17112 - 8), returning for this visit in 1908 to take 33 views for Gerda Francesca Hudson, wife of the owner Robert William Hudson.

The NMR holds no negatives for the 25 prints in the album.

The album format is similar to the NMR's Bedford Lemere album series.
