Description

New workshops and an institution for Liverpool’s ‘Society for the Outdoor Blind’ were built on Cornwallis Street in 1869, to the designs of G T Redmayne. The building became the ‘Liverpool Workshop for the Blind’. The workshop was non-residential and provided work and social gatherings for blind men and women living in Liverpool.
