Description

The file contains material from a project in March - November 2006 that documents the run-down and closing of the airbase. It was commissioned by English Heritage including HEEP funding and examined the impact of closure on the airbase and the surrounding community. The airbase was officially closed on the 30th November 2006. Jobs 2K/16685 and 2K/16686 relate to follow-up work to the project.
