A file of material created by English Heritage's Scientific Dating Team, consisting of correspondence, notes and radiocarbon dating documentation. The file details five samples submitted for radiocarbon dating; two Oak samples from Late Roman contexts, two Alder samples from a foundation trench of a Late-4th century Bastion and a timber sample from a Mid-4th century context. All samples were discovered within the Roman town boundaries.
