A file of material created by the English Heritage Scientific Dating Team containing correspondence, preliminary notes and a dendrochronology application form relating to the dating of timbers from Astley Castle, Warwickshire. Originally built in the 13th/14th centuries, Astley Castle is now a country house. It underwent extensive remodelling in the 16th and 17th centuries.
