A file of material created by the English Heritage Scientific Dating Team containing correspondence, dendrochronology application forms and information relating to the Kent Post Medieval Tree Ring Dating Project. The project was submitted by the Nottingham University Tree Ring Dating Laboratory. Its aim was to extend the master oak dendrochronological sequence for the county of Kent to cover the Post Medieval Period to the present day. Buildings in Kent were sampled and analysed to achieve this. Buildings include Groombridge Place Barn, 150-4 High Street in Rochester, South Ash Manor and The Black House in Gillingham.
