Description

A virtual file of 11 photographs relating to Brentford Football Club. The club was founded in 1899 and initially played on a field now covered by Clifden Road. It later moved to Benn's Field to the north, and then to Shotter's Field in 1894. Between 1898 and 1900 the club played at Cross Roads, before moving to the Boston Park Cricket Ground on York Road. In 1904 Brentford moved to land near to the Griffin public house. This was later known as Griffin Park. It remained the club's home ground until 2020, when it then moved to the Brentford Community Stadium.
