Description

A virtual file of 3 photographs relating to Bristol Rovers Football Club. Originally named the 'Black Arabs Football Club', the club formed in 1883. There were later renamed Eastville Rovers, and by 1894 they were known as Bristol Rovers. The club moved between several grounds during their early history, before settling at Eastville Stadium in 1897. They moved to Twerton Park in 1986 (see FGE01/01/007). Since 1996 the club's home ground has been Memorial Stadium (see FGE01/01/018).
