Description

A virtual file of 14 photographs relating to Chester City Football Club. The club was founded in 1885 as Chester Football Club and was renamed Chester City in 1982. Between 1906 to 1990, the club's home games were played at The Stadium (also known as Sealand Road). In 1992 the club moved to the Deva Stadium, on the England-Wales border, after spending two years playing at Moss Rose in Macclesfield. The site on Sealand Road was redeveloped as a retail park. In March 2010 the club was dissolved; it was effectively reformed as Chester Football Club in May 2010 and remained playing at the Deva Stadium.
