Description

A virtual file of 48 photographs relating to Crystal Palace Football Club. The club was founded in 1905 and initially played at the Crystal Palace ground. The ground was requisitioned by the Admiralty in 1915; the club therefore moved to Herne Hill and later The Nest (Croydon Common Athletic Ground) in Selhurst. In 1924 Crystal Palace moved to the newly built Selhurst Park. It was still the club's home ground in 2026.
