Description

A file containing six photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Putney High Street. Known as Woolworths store number 45, this was the forty-fifth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in early 1915. The store's original premises were at 45-53 on the High Street, but in the 1960s it moved across the road to numbers 60-62. The store closed in January 2009.
