Description

A file containing 2 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Stoke Newington High Street. Known as Woolworths store number 61, this was the sixty first branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1915. The shop occupied part of a parade of shops dating from the Victorian era, rather than a purpose built store. In 2021 these former Woolworth buildings were home to Iceland Foods.
