A file containing 28 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at 263-277 High Street, Hounslow. Known as Woolworths store number 106, this was the one-hundred and sixth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store originally opened in 1921 but was destroyed during the Second World War. In 1949 the company opened a temporary store at 263 High Street. A new store opened at 269-270 High Street in 1959. Later the company were trading from premises at 263-277 High Street. It finally closed in December 2008.
