Description

A file containing 21 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at 21 St George's Street, Canterbury. Known as Woolworths store number 109, this was the one-hundred and ninth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store originally opened in 1922. It was bombed during the Second World War and rebuilt in 1952. It finally closed in December 2008.
