Description

A file containing 6 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store in Taunton. Known as Woolworths store number 110 (and later 1189), this was the one-hundred and tenth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store originally opened in 1922. The Woolworths Museum gives the address as 18-19 East Street but the photographs within the museum show the building at 40-44 Fore Street. The store closed in January 2009.
