A file containing 9 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at St Mary Street, Weymouth. Known as Woolworths store number 139, this was the one-hundred and thirty ninth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store opened in 1923 and was given a grand art deco facade in 1938 before being rebuilt in 1985. In 1999 the company moved to premises in New Bond Street and this new store was given the store number 1219.
