Description

A file containing 8 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at Stirling. Known as Woolworths store number 166, this was the one-hundred and sixty sixth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store opened in 1924, its original location is unknown. In 1962 the branch moved to numbers 7-13 Port Street. It moved to the Thistles Shopping Centre in 1977 before closing for good in December 2008.
