A file containing 1 photograph depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at High Street, Oldham. Known as Woolworths store number 181, this was the one-hundred and eighty-first branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store opened in 1925 and closed in January 1984, after which the building was demolished and replaced with four modern commercial units. A new Woolworths store opened in Oldham in August 2000 (Store number 1207).
