Description

A file containing 21 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at Midland Road, Bedford. Known as Woolworths store number 184, this was the one-hundred and eighty-fourth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store opened in 1923. It was extended first in 1930 and then again in 1933 and 1961. It closed in December 2008.
