Description

A file containing 3 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at Accrington, Lancashire. Known as Woolworths store number 190, this was the one-hundred and ninetieth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles. The store opened in 1925 at 53-59 Blackburn Road in purpose built premises. In 1961 they moved to 21 Broadway, part of a brand new development. It closed in 2008.
