Description

A file containing 12 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on the High Street, Staines. Known as Woolworths store number 216, this was the two-hundred and sixteenth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1926. In the late 20th century, the store expanded from 101-103 High Street to also incorporate the 95-99 High Street. The store closed in January 2009.
