Description

A file containing 25 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store on Witton Street, Northwich. Known as Woolworths store number 219, this was the two-hundred and nineteenth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1926. The store was located at 26-28 Witton Street. The building, or at least the facade, had been rebuilt by 1969. It closed in 2008.
