A file containing 45 photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store in on Union Street, Aberdeen. Known as Woolworths store number 228, this was the two-hundred and twenty-eighth branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, in 1926. It was the second Woolworths to open in Aberdeen; the first was store number 79 on St Nicholas Street, the second was at 111-119 Union Street. The Union Street store closed in 1990.
